IPO Challenge:
The Chicago GSB National IPO Challenge is a case-based competition among the top business schools. The following provides some additional information on the initial valuation exercise and the main event.

Qualifying Valuation Exercise:
All registered teams will receive the same equity valuation exercise on Saturday, October 13th, 2007. Teams will then have until Monday October 15th, 2007 to submit the required materials to the IBG.
Once all the information is received, the IBG will rank the submissions and the top 15 teams will be given the opportunity to participate in the final competition
Final Competition:
The final competition will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007. The event will begin with the First Round of competition where the 15 selected teams will compete for 6 Final Round spots. The First Round will be followed by a formal lunch, the Final Round and a Cocktail Reception where the competition winners will be announced. |
