01/08 Welcome Back Members!
Welcome back CAP members! Hope everyone has a wonderful new years and a relaxing break. For the first year, I know the battle seems like its just getting started but believe it or not, its actually almost over for you. Hang in there! In the Winter Quarter, CAP will focus on some more social events (R&R) for all to unwind and enjoy your time. They include the following:
- Japan Trip (Spring Break)
- Sake Party (Late Winter Quarter)
- CAP Sports Event (TBD)
- Movie Nights (TBD)
10/26 CAP Lunch and Learn: Americans are from Mars, Chinese are from Venus!
Dear members,
Jennifer Pan, founder of ChinaSense, will cover how Chinese and American professionals are inherently different
in business philosophies, and in turn business practices.
This will be a great opportunity to hear from an entrepreneur who helped bridged a gap between China and US markets,
which is also a topic that Prof. Darraugh from the Polsky Center will explore more deeply as part of this years
CAP Conference on Nov 17th, 2007.

10/07 Choose your CAP mentor today!
Dear first year members,
Choose your CAP mentor today! Below are a few reasons why you might want a mentor
(yes, I know all the clubs do this as does GBC and I am sure you all have your unofficial mentors as wellĄ),
but here are some special reasons for having one from CAP:
- Learn from the trials and errors of your Mentor in terms of career search
- Hear the experience and know the inside track to GSB
- Learn more about Asia from these experts either in terms of work or play
- Simply get to know another second year student better
- Last but not least, get your mentor to buy you lunch so you can "discuss" important matters
Select up to three mentors of your choice and we will match them based on a first come first served basis (each mentor will have a limit of 2-3 mentees depending on their capacity)
