  • International Monetary Fund - IMF supports international monetary cooperation and the expansion and balanced growth of world trade.
  • Id21 - This is the id21 Development Research reporting service, bringing you a selection of the latest and best UK-based development research.

Development jobs:

  • InterAction - Based in DC. A heavy hitter within the DC/New York NGO/policy community. A good source for learning who's who in development. They publish a bi-weekly newsletter with current job listings.
  • Coop America - Through its Green Pages, lists hundreds of US businesses, financial institutions (like South Shore Bank) and investment firms active in local/int'l community development, poverty reduction, etc.
  • The Microcredit Summit - Based in Washington, is also a good starting point to find institutions engaged in development-microfinance, including international agencies and businesses that fund or have otherwise signed on to the Summit's anti-poverty goal.
  • Devdir.org - A directory of development organizations, by region.
  • DevNetJobs - Gateway to International Development and Environment Jobs. The site lists job opportunities in the International Environment and Development sector and is run by a group of development professionals.
