8/23 |
Head to O'Hare for a 10am flight – nonstop to Shanghai! |
| Sunday |
8/24 |
Land at 2pm in China, check into the hotel, sober up (drinks are free on international flights you know), head out for a group dinner, then a night on the town. |
| Monday |
8/25 |
Morning tour of Shanghai, free afternoon to wander around town, and
we'll spend the evening cruising along the Huangpu River. |
| Tuesday |
8/26 |
Free day. See the sites or get a massage for $15! We will go to a Chinese acrobat show this evening and then test out our livers once again. |
| Wednesday |
8/27 |
Explore the markets of Shanghai and compete in first ever Random Walk Olympics. We celebrate our last night in Shanghai with a flip cup tournament in the hotel before heading out. |
| Thursday |
8/28 |
Morning flight to Beijing. Afternoon sightseeing at one of the wonders of the world - the Great Wall. Check into the hotel, nap, dinner, then out for the night on the new town. |
| Friday |
8/29 |
Sightseeing in the Forbidden City, lunch with a local Chinese family and tours through the Hutongs. Back to the hotel, then out clubbing in Beijing with locals. |
| Saturday |
8/30 |
Visit the Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven, and the local markets.
We'll celebrate our last night in Asia with a fancy Peking Duck
dinner and an all night bender. |
| Sunday |
8/31 |
Sadly, it has to come to an end at some point. Luckily we get the
end over quickly with a nonstop flight from Beijing to O'Hare. At home
you can sleep off the 7 day hangover. |
Why This Trip |
This trip is for you if:
- Like having a great time while enjoying cultural sites
- Are awesome
- Are already on the list for a liver transplant
- Want to have the greatest Random Walk trip experience of all your future GSB friends
This trip is not for you if:
- You don't like to party
- Have a fear of flying
- Want to hike 15 miles per day, eat wild berries, and sleep on dirt
