VISION
The Turnaround and Restructuring Group (“TRG”) of The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business ("GSB") aims to promote and educate the student body on all aspects of the turnaround / restructuring field. In conjunction with this objective, the TRG is to serve as a liaison for summer internship and full-time job opportunities between companies and students

TRG Overview

TRG Co-Chairs

The focus of the Chicago GSB TRG encompasses financial restructuring, consulting, operational turnarounds, distressed investing and bankruptcy law. Specific activities include resume reviews, email notifications of job opportunities, social networking events, case competitions, Lunch N’ Learns and the annual Turnaround & Restructuring Conference.

Key Activities

Turnaround & Restructuring Conf. (January 18, 2008)
Lunch N’ Learns provide sponsors opportunities to present to students regarding careers, deal experience, etc., as well as maintain a presence with prospective candidates.
Networking Events – Happy hours and other outings designed to build relationships among students and local professionals interested in the turnaround and restructuring fields.
